    The Original REMA DIN 640 battery connector system complements the product lines REMA DIN 80, 160, 320 with a high power battery connector at an unrivaled current rating of 640 amps. The connector system has been specifcally designed for the quick and opportunity charging of large battery capacities and corresponds to the DIN VDE 0632-589 and EN 1175-1.

    POSSIBLE TO FIT 2 PAIRS OF AUXILARY CONTACTS
    As special feature, it is possible to install an additional (second) pair of auxiliary contacts to the standard version with 1 pair of auxiliary and pilot contacts. The REMA devoloped contacts made out of pure high conductive Cu-ETP copper with silver plated surface and an anti-friction and tarnish coating ensure a power transition with minimal losses and a long life. The DIN 640 battery connector is suitable for a wide range of cable sizes. Cables from 70 mm² to 240 mm² can be crimped directly without using a reducing bushing. For best performance results and durability, the special developed REMA Crimp die sets and tools should be used.
