Istec VibSys® – continuous vibration monitoring for every pump, fan and motor
VibSys is a compact DIN-rail vibration monitoring system and cloud gateway from Istec. It brings continuous condition monitoring to balance-of-plant machines that today only get a manual check every few weeks. Supplied in Finland by MK-Controls Oy, Istec distributor.

Not limited to Istec sensors
Istec VibSys is not tied to Istec-branded vibration sensors. Compatible IEPE accelerometers from other manufacturers can be used. Sensor selection should match the machine speed, frequency range, temperature, environment, mounting method and measurement objective.
Condition monitoring and integration
Continuous machine-condition monitoring
Four vibration inputs for compatible IEPE accelerometers
Machine-side data acquisition and predefined extractions
Local plant integration, including Modbus TCP
Connection to Istec Sphere for vibration analysis where specified
Distributed architecture for pumps, fans, motors, gearboxes, compressors and other rotating machinery
Condition monitoring—not machinery protection
VibSys is intended for condition monitoring, trending and diagnostics. Safety-critical machinery protection, overspeed trips and shutdown functions should use appropriate dedicated protection systems.
Sensors, accessories, integration and Istec Sphere subscriptions are scoped separately unless specifically included in a quotation.
Firmware: current VibSys units ship with A01 firmware. The upcoming M40 firmware adds more functions through a normal firmware update – Istec has informed that the hardware stays the same.
SmartBlinky Battery Watering Monitor
The SmartBlinky monitor features patented Smart Sensing Technology, which eliminates false indications and prevents unnecessary watering. And the bright green (water level OK) and red (water needed) lights provide a much clearer indication that the battery requires watering.
Instruction here
Ideal for batteries where the top of the battery can be seen. Green & Red indication.

JAQUET 385Z-05226 VR Sensor M12x1 with integral Cable Harness
The E12S series variable reluctance (VR) speed sensors consist of an iron core,\nan inductive coil, and a permanent magnet. A ferrous pole wheel passing the\nsensor face changes the magnetic field strength, resulting in an AC voltage\nbeing induced in the coil. The frequency of the output signal is proportional to the\nspeed of the moving target. The Amplifieritude of the signal depends on speed, air\ngap, geometry of target, magnetic properties of target material, and the electrical\nload. VR sensors, also known as passive or electromagnetic sensors, do not\nrequire an external supply.
